ARTIST OWNED INDEPENDENTLY OPERATED STREETWEAR BRAND
BOSS DOG
OPERATIONS MANAGER
OVERSEE OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT EVERY LEVEL OF THE BRAND
EXPECTATIONS:
- To be a positive role model of the Boss Dog brand; to promote the brand wherever and whenever possible. to contribute to the overall growth of the brand
- To increase sales and visibility of the Boss Dog brand
- To oversee and manage fulfillment, wholesale and all store operations
- To oversee and manage the openings of new stores and a fulfillment center
- To initiate, seek out and organize events regularly and make a profit
- To plan and initiate events throughout the us to promote Boss Dog and / or
run events at all Boss Dog and friends locations - To act as a liason and administrative assistant to ownership
SALARY:
- 52 - 58k a year; benefits after 6 mos;
- Relocation package available on a case by case basis bonus opportunities;

SALARY FOR THIS JOB HAS THE POTENTIAL TO INCREASE QUICKLY IF THE COMPANY SCALES SUCCESSFULLY
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a relatively new laptop, iphone, and be adequate at taking camera photos and videos
- Travel is part of the job; must have a car; must be ok with plane travel
- Have practical experience and systems competency with Gusto, When I Work, Shopify, and all social media platforms
- Have excellent writing, verbal, organizational and event management skills
- Have experience with tracking data anayltics
- Have experience in opening stores; scouting locations, hiring, firing
- Have some experience in project management and customer service
- Streetwear knowledge a plus
- 3 references relevant to the job
- Must live in Southern CA -- preferably Palm Springs area -- or be willing to relocate;
YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO BE IN PALM SPRINGS AREA 3-5 DAYS A WEEK OFTEN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with owner to plan events, shop openings, fulfillment
strategy and long term expansion - Coordinate and manage all aspects of operations
- Oversee and develop our fulfillment program[s]
- Help develop and execute standard operating procedures for store openings and in store and brand events
- Work independently to plan and execute in store and brand events as well as store openings
- Bring creative new ideas to the table especially with regard to new events,
- Collaborations fundraisers and community building
- Communicate daily with ownership; present a monthly comprehensive report of progress, wins and losses
- Scout locations for fulfillment center and new stores
- Pack and fulfill orders; be able to train new employees on the inner workings of fulfillment
- Function part time as an administrative assistant to the owner
- Maintain inventory for otc, wholesale and stores; manage and track inventory; submit profit and loss statements monthly
- Communicate with printers and other manufacturers we work with when necessary

You:
- Already a fan of and know about Boss Dog; you believe in the company
- Able to wear many hats; calm under pressure; able to work on multiple projects at once a good communicator, organized, assertive, possess an intuitive understanding of the chaotic nature of a small, growing clothing brand; can manage working in close contact with an owner who is a creative, driven and strong willed; you are professional, on time, honest, a "straight shooter", inclusive and able to take things in stride
- Daily meetings and text exchanges with ownership will affect short term and long term project priorities; being able to adapt with short notice is necessary
- You are a self initiator with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor
